Background
With over 60 years of heritage, Government Independent PU College, Hoskote, has educated thousands of students and once had a student strength of 2,000+. Over time, due to improper facilities, sinking walls, and deteriorating classrooms, enrollment dropped to 400 students, and the college’s reputation and infrastructure were at risk.
Responding to community and alumni requests, and in collaboration and support of Hoskote MLA Shri Sharath Bachegowda, Sumadhura Group undertook a project to renovate and preserve the heritage building, restoring the college’s prominence while maintaining its historic structure.
The renovation focused on modernizing facilities, improving safety, and preserving heritage, while ensuring functionality and comfort for students and staff:

Merged select classrooms to create a spacious computer lab and staff rooms with attached toilets for male and female staff
